Vietnamese Steak Salad
- sirloin steaks - carrots, cucumber, lettuce - fresh coriander, fresh mint - red chili - dried rice noodles - lime juice - fish sauce - garlic ginger paste - sesame oil - fish sauce - honey
Mix together lime juice, fish sauce, and garlic ginger paste. Marinate steaks in the liquid for at least 20 minutes.
Cook rice noodles by covering with boiling water for 1 minute. Carefully drain under cold water.
Add to a bowl with cucumber, chili pepper, carrots, coriander, mint, and lettuce. Refrigerate.
Heat a griddle pan over medium heat and add the marinated steaks. Cook 3-4 minutes each side, let rest, then slice.
Mix together sesame oil, lime, fish sauce, and honey.
Toss the bowl of salad together and top with thinly sliced steaks and the salad dressing.
