Place orange juice, lime juice, minced garlic, cumin, salt, and pepper in a plastic bag or container large enough to contain the meat you plan to marinate.
2 Tablespoons lime juice, ¼ cup orange juice, 3 cloves garlic, ½ teaspoon cumin, ¼ teaspoon salt, ¼ teaspoon pepper
Add meat to the container and toss to coat. If marinating skirt, flank, or sirloin steak, marinate for at least 2 hours, but less than 8.
Alternatively, carne asada seasoning can be added to 1 lb. of ground beef! Mix through while cooking.
- If you'd like a bit of spice, add ½ teaspoon chili powder (or to your liking). Mexican chili powder is a great addition.
- Freshly squeezed juice is the best for this dish. However, you can also use store-bought juice.
