- hoagie roll or bread of choice
- 1 slice of meatloaf
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Optional Toppings
- 1 cup shredded cheese or slices of cheese
- ½ cup tomato sauce or ketchup
- 1 slice of lettuce for topping
- 2 slices of tomato for topping

Heat a skillet to medium-low heat. Once hot, add olive oil and lay down slices of meatloaf.

Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until each side of your meatloaf is golden brown.
Top meatloaf with shredded cheese and cook for another 2-3 minutes or until the cheese is melty.

Set meatloaf aside on a separate plate. Using the same skillet, toast your buns for 2-3 minutes.

Once the buns are toasted, begin assembling the sandwich. Spread tomato sauce over the inside of your buns.

Top with meatloaf, lettuce, and tomatoes.

Place the top bun on your sandwich and enjoy!

- Quality bread: You want to use bread that won't fall apart while you're eating it. Any thick slice of bread like ciabatta or hoagie rolls make a great option!
- Sauce: If you enjoy a saucy sandwich, feel free to use more tomato sauce or even ketchup!
