My beef taco seasoning recipe is an easy homemade taco seasoning you can mix in minutes using a few staple pantry spices!

Ingredients

  • 3 Tablespoons Chili Powder
  • 2 Tablespoons Garlic Powder
  • 2 Tablespoons Dried Chopped Onion
  • 1 Tablespoon Coarse Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon Paprika
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a bowl and stir to mix together thoroughly.

  • Season taco meat after draining grease by adding to the pan and simmering for several minutes in the seasoning. If not draining, you can add the seasoning as the beef cooks.

Notes

  • My beef taco seasoning recipe pairs perfectly with my Crockpot Taco Meat.
  • This recipe makes enough to use with 3 pounds of ground beef, and can be safely stored in an airtight jar, indefinitely, as you would store any other seasoning.
  • If you want to make only enough for 1 pound of beef, use these measurements:
    • 1 Tablespoon chili powder
    • 3 teaspoons garlic powder
    • 3 teaspoons dried chopped onion
    • 1½ teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
    • 1½ teaspoon paprika
    • Salt to taste
