My easy creamed spinach recipe uses fresh or frozen spinach and cooks in 20 minutes.
Set a saucepan over medium heat, and add butter. Melt, then add in the flour and mix until well blended.
Add in the minced garlic and stir with a wooden spoon until aromatic, one more minute.
Slowly pour in the milk, whisking constantly. Keep whisking frequently as it cooks, another 5 minutes.
In a large saucepan, melt the remaining butter. Add the spinach in handfuls until it wilts enough to all fit in the pan.
Season the cream sauce with salt and pepper, then add in the spinach and balsamic vinegar. Stir gently to combine.
Serve, and enjoy!
