Grilled Rib Eye Steak

– 2 rib eye steaks – 2 teaspoons coarse sea salt – 2 teaspoons brown sugar – ¼ teaspoon garlic powder – ¼ teaspoon garlic salt – ¼ teaspoon onion powder – ¼ teaspoon turmeric – ½ teaspoon paprika – ½ teaspoon chili powder – 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes

In a bowl, combine rub. Rub both sides of steak with the rub and pat down. Let steaks sit at room temperature for at least 30 minutes.

Preheat grill to high. Sear steaks each side with the lid open. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook with the lid closed.

Remove steaks from grill and top with  garlic butter compound butter. Allow steaks to rest for 10 minutes before cutting into them.

 Slice steaks against the grain and serve.
