Ground Beef  Lettuce Wraps

– 1 pound ground beef – 1 lemon – 2 garlic cloves minced – 1 bay leaf – 4 tablespoons olive oil – ½ cup Peri-Peri sauce  – 1 cup grape tomatoes – 1 cup shredded carrots – 1 cup radishes – 2 small heads of bibb lettuce

Combine  lean ground beef, minced garlic cloves, sweet paprika, and 1 bay leaf in a large bowl.


Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for approximately 4 hours or overnight


Heat a skillet over medium-high and add olive oil. Remove bay leaf from mixture. Add the beef  and saute until browned. 


Stir in Peri-Peri sauce and juice from a lemon, and continue to cook for 5 more minutes.


Remove the skillet from heat. Add beef  to lettuce wraps with carrots,  tomatoes, and radishes for serving. Squeeze  lemon juice over the top.
