Instant Pot Beef and Broccoli

– 1 lb. flank steak - 1 lb. broccoli florets - 1/2 cup beef broth - 2 cloves garlic - 1/2 tbsp. fresh ginger - 3 tbsp. vegetable oil - 1 tbsp. onion powder - 1 tsp. crushed chili pepper - 2-3 tbsp. fish sauce - 1/4 cup coconut aminos - 1/2 tbsp. arrowroot powder - Sesame seeds

Ingredients

Sauté steak.

Turn on Sauté mode on Instant Pot and add vegetable oil to the pot. Cook flank steak, until browned.

Make marinade.

Turn off sauté mode, and remove steak. Combine ginger, garlic, onion powder, crushed chili pepper, beef broth, coconut aminos and fish sauce. Add to the pot and re-add steak and stir well.

Pressure cook.

Add the lid to the Instant Pot and pressure cook on high for 10 minutes.

Cook broccoli.

Steam or boil broccoli florets for 2-3 minutes. Quick release pressure from Instant Pot once 10 minutes is up. Combine arrowroot powder with cold water and add mixture to pot.

Add broccoli.

Add broccoli to the pot and stir well together completely. 

Serve and enjoy!

Serve with sesame seeds if you like, and enjoy!
