Portuguese Beef Lettuce Wraps

– 1 pound ground beef – 1 lemon – 2 garlic cloves minced – 1 bay leaf – 4 tablespoons olive oil – ½ cup Peri-Peri sauce or hot sauce of choice – 1 cup grape tomatoes cut in half – 1 cup shredded carrots – 1 cup radishes thinly sliced – 2 small heads of bibb or butter lettuce separated

Mix the beef

Combine 1 pound lean ground beef, 2 minced garlic cloves, 2 teaspoons sweet paprika, and 1 bay leaf in a large bowl.
Maximize the flavor!

Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for approximately 4 hours or overnight.
Cook beef.

Heat skillet over medium-high. Add olive oil. Remove bay leaf and add beef to skillet. Saute for 5 min. or until fully cooked.
Add hot sauce.

Stir in ½ cup Peri-Peri sauce or hot sauce of your choice, and continue to cook for 5 more minutes.
Serve and enjoy!

Create wraps using 2 small heads of bibb or butter lettuce, and 1 cup each of shredded carrots, halved grape tomatoes, and sliced radishes.
