Instant Pot Beef and Broccoli

– 1 pound flank steak - 1 pound broccoli florets - 1/2 cup beef broth - 2 cloves garlic minced - 1/2 Tbsp. fresh ginger minced - 3 Tbsp. vegetable oil - 1 Tbsp. onion powder - 1 Tsp. crushed chili pepper - 2-3 Tbsp. fish sauce - 1/4 cup coconut aminos - 1/2 Tbsp. arrowroot powder - Sesame seeds

Ingredients

Cook beef.

Turn on the saute mode of your Instant Pot and add vegetable oil to the pot. Cook flank steak, finely sliced, until browned.

Make sauce.

Turn off saute mode and remove beef. Combine ginger, minced garlic, onion powder, crushed chili pepper, beef broth, coconut aminos, and fish sauce in a bowl.

Add sauce and beef.

Add the sauce you just made into the pot, then re-add the beef and stir.

Pressure cook.

Add the lid back to the Instant Pot. Set to high pressure for 10 minutes.

Cook broccoli.

Steam or boil broccoli florets for 2-3 minutes. Quick release the pressure when 10 minutes is up. Combine arrowroot powder with some cold water. Add to beef mixture and stir.

Add broccoli.

Add the broccoli to the pot and mix together completely.

Serve and enjoy.
