Sous Vide Prime Rib

Ingredients

Prime rib roast bone-in Kosher salt Low-sodium beef broth Garlic Herb Butter Salted butter  Garlic powder Fresh rosemary Fresh thyme Ground black pepper

Season roast with salt and place in the refrigerator for 1 hour. 

Step 1

Place the roast in a large vacuum bag, and seal it tightly.

Step 2

Sl

Set sous vide to 132-degrees & attach it to a pot with water. Place roast in the water and clip to the side. Sous vide for 6-10 hours.

Step 3

Remove beef and reserve the liquid! Preheat oven to 550°F. In a bowl, combine garlic butter ingredients and rub all over the roast.

Step 4

Place in a roasting pan with a rack. Roast for 8-10 minutes.

Step 5

Remove from the oven and let rest. In a skillet, bring the cooking liquid and beef broth to a boil.

Step 6

Sl

Reduce the heat and simmer until reduced by half. Skim off any solids that rise to the top.

Step 7

Sl

Serve sliced prime rib and serve with Au Ju on the side. Enjoy!
