Get your grill as hot. Divide meat into thirds. Roll them in your hand and press them into flat patties.
Right before you put the burgers on the grill, salt them generously and then pepper them on both sides.
Place on the grill and close the lid. Let them cook for 5 minutes and then flip. As soon as you flip them, add your cheese. Let them cook for another 4-5 minutes.
After resting, place a patty on its own bun, top with bacon, and other preferred toppings. Enjoy!
