One of my favorite things about making taco soup is that it's ready in one pot, too, so there's hardly any clean-up after!
Add garlic and sauté until fragrant; then, add beef and use a spatula to break into pieces.
Add chicken broth and cook for additional 20 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Remove bay leaf before serving. Dish into bowls and top with your favorite taco toppings. Enjoy!
