– Filet steaks – Kosher salt – Black pepper – Optional: Garlic butter for steak
Salt and pepper all sides of your filets generously. Let it set for about 10 minutes.
Heat the grill to high. Place filets on the grill. Do not touch for 5-8 minutes. Then, flip them and let them cook another 5-7 minutes.
Once they have been on for 10-15 minutes, check the temperature. We want the internal temp to be 130℉.
Let the filets rest for about 10 minutes before serving. Make sure to slice against the grain!
