  • 1 stick Salted butter
  • 1 Tablespoon Lemon zest
  • 1 Tablespoon Lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon Garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Red pepper flakes
  • ½ teaspoon Sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper
  • ½ Tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Parsley freshly chopped

Instructions

  • Melt 1 stick Salted butter either in a saucepan or the microwave. If using the microwave, make sure to heat in in short 15 second bursts so it doesn't pop and spatter!

  • Chop up 1 Tablespoon Parsley and zest and juice the lemon for 1 Tablespoon Lemon zest and 1 Tablespoon Lemon juice. Add to the melted butter along with all remaining ingredients. Stir well until completely combined.

  • Pour over steak before it's cooked, or dip steak bites in for a delicious treat!

Notes

  • Because it's a butter-based sauce, this delicious western sauce can be used to baste steak, too!
  • Let this sauce thicken in the fridge and then spread it on toast or rub it on raw meat like a butter rub for incredible flavor.
  • If you want your sauce a little sweeter, add a bit of honey! It'll melt into the warmed butter perfectly and thicken alongside it for chilling later.
  • If you're using this sauce to dip raw steak in before cooking it, set a portion aside for use later to avoid cross-contamination.
