Notes

  • Most sauces are quick and easy to make, but few do well when they sit out too long! Always make your sauces while the prime rib is cooking to ensure it's ready right on time.
  • Each sauce will pair well with different sides! Take into account what sides you're serving, and choose a sauce that will go well with everything.
  • Prime ribs are hefty cuts of meat! Make sure to make plenty of sauce so there's enough to go around. Extra can always be stored in the fridge for leftovers!
  • Don't pour out the drippings! Once the prime rib is cooked, save the drippings for Au Jus, a wine reduction, or a delicious gravy or broth for later!
