Instructions

  • Add all the ingredients into a medium bowl, making sure there are no hard lumps in the brown sugar.
¾ cup Brown sugar, 2 Tablespoons Onion powder, 2 Tablespoons Garlic powder, 2 Tablespoons Creole seasoning, 3 teaspoons Black pepper, 4 teaspoons Paprika, 2 teaspoons Coarse salt, ½ teaspoon Cumin, ½ teaspoon Chili powder, ½ teaspoon Mustard powder
  • Mix well together until fully combined, then add to ribs or pour into a jar for later! Let the ribs rest overnight for best results.

Notes

    • When coating ribs in ribs rub, make sure to pat the rub in very well! You don't want a light sprinkling- you want it well coated and rubbed into the meat.
    • You'll want to cover all sides of the ribs. It's never a bad idea to make extra rub if the ribs are large.
    • For best results, let the rubbed ribs refrigerate overnight to really get infused with flavor!
    • This rib rub is delicious on all sorts of pork! Feel free to add it to pork shoulder, pork butt, or baby back ribs.
    • Don't forget to whip up a big batch of my very favorite BBQ Sauce to go with!
