Pork Tenderloin in Air Fryer
No matter how hard I try, I can't find the magic spell to make weekdays any less busy! It seems like there's always something that comes up and cuts my evening time short, and too often that can leave me scrambling for something satisfying but fast to make for dinner.
That's where these amazing air fryer pork tenderloin slices come in! Slice the pork, coat it in oil and seasonings, air fry it for less than ten minutes, and dinner is served. Plus, with how easy it is, I can focus more on whipping up some simple, delicious sides for pork!
Better yet, the simplicity of this recipe makes it so easy to customize. Add your favorite herbs to the seasonings, or cover the bowl and let the pork rest until you're just about to serve dinner. Air fry pork tenderloin in minutes, and enjoy!

How to Cook Pork Tenderloin in Air Fryer
- Set the pork tenderloin on a cutting board and use a sharp knife to cut it into 1 inch thick slices.
- In a medium mixing bowl, add all other ingredients except the pork, then mix them well with a whisk. Add in the pork medallions, and turn them over to coat them all on each side.
- Transfer the coated medallions to the air fryer basket.
- Cook at 390°F for 7 minutes, flipping halfway through the cook time, or until the internal temperature reads 145°F with a meat thermometer.
- Remove from the basket and let rest for 5 minutes, then serve!
How Long to Cook Pork Tenderloin in Air Fryer
Cook time depends on how thick the tenderloin is. I prefer to slice my tenderloin into inch-thick medallions, as it keeps all the tender, juicy flavor but cooks very fast! When you're air frying medallions, they should be cooked for 7 minutes at 390°F.
Air Fry Pork Tenderloin Recipe Tips
- I love avocado oil- it's a thick oil with a much higher smoke point than olive oil, and it's hard to beat when you want a neutral flavor! That said, don't feel restricted to only avocado oil. This recipe doesn't cook to a high enough temperature to reach smoke point, so use what you have!
- The seasonings for this recipe are perfect to pair with just about anything you're cooking up, but feel free to experiment! I love adding in some herbs or a little Parmesan cheese.
- Because this recipe takes such a short time to cook, try cutting the pork first and setting it in the seasoning mixture in the fridge for an easy marinade while you whip up the sides!
Pork Tenderloin Air Fryer FAQs
Pork must reach 145°F to be food safe, at which point it's considered rare and will have a pink center. For a more well-done meat, cook to 165°F. Check out my handy pork temperature guide for more details!
It can be hard to tell by sight when pork is done, so I always recommend using an instant read meat thermometer to check the temperature of the thickest part of the meat. For all pork cuts aside from ground pork and precooked ham, the thickest part of the meat should reach a minimum of 145°F.
