    Sloppy Joe Seasonings FAQ

What is Sloppy Joe seasoning made of?

Sloppy Joe seasoning is a super-easy seasoning mix made from basic pantry ingredients, such as ketchup, mustard, tomato paste, and Worcestershire sauce plus a sprinkle of chili powder, garlic powder, and salt and pepper. This makes a delicious, easy seasoning for any meat you can imagine.

Is Sloppy Joe mix same as chili?

Sloppy Joe mix has less chili powder and tomato than chili, relying instead on flavorings like mustard, garlic, and sweet-tangy ketchup. It also makes for a less soupy mix that's already fairly thick in order to stay together well on sandwiches.

    What makes Sloppy Joes thick?

Sloppy Joes require fairly sticky, thick seasoning ingredients to ensure they don't end up too soupy! This seasoning mix uses ingredients that are already nice and thick, so the seasoning will help the meat clump together nicely like a savory, spicy glaze.
