Grilled Pork Chops FAQs
How long to grill pork chops: grill 1½-inch bone-in pork chops for 15-20 minutes. For thinner or thicker pork chops, the time will need to be adjusted. Always use a meat thermometer to check the doneness of pork chops.
To avoid pork chops drying out on the grill, carefully monitor the internal temperature using a meat thermometer. Pork chops dry out when they are overcooked, so if you cook them to a temperature, they will not dry out. You are looking for an internal temperature of 145℉ for pork chops.
Begin by preheating the grill to high heat. Coat your pork chops with oil on all sides, then season them all over.
