London Broil Marinade FAQs
If your cut of meat is especially tough, you may want to tenderize it with a meat mallet before marinating. See: how to tenderize steak. However, marinating is generally all you need to make London Broil tender, so you shouldn't have to tenderize it beforehand.
London Broil should be left to marinate for at least 4 hours or overnight. Do not marinate for longer than 1-2 days or the fibers of the meat will begin to break down too much and become mushy.
